1. Context and challenge

The Mermade brand required a modern, fast, and scalable solution for online sales. The main challenge was not just to create an online store, but to build a fully-fledged e-commerce system that matched the brand's vibrant identity and was fully adapted to the realities of the Ukrainian market (payments, logistics).

The FAIR Agency team undertook the full-cycle realization of the project: from the first line of code to the first order and the scaling of advertising campaigns.
2. Development and design (UI/UX)

We rejected template solutions in favor of uniqueness. The website design was developed entirely custom, based on the Mermade brand book and references provided by the client.

Key Development Stages:

- UX Design: Created an intuitive catalog structure and Customer Journey to maximize conversion rates.

- Custom UI: The visual component conveys the brand's mood - a bright, youthful, and trendy style.

- Performance: Thanks to Shopify architecture optimization, the site demonstrates high loading speeds (PageSpeed), which is critical for SEO and retaining mobile users.

The total development time was exactly 3 months until release.
3. Technical integrations and localization

To ensure full functionality in the Ukrainian market, we implemented a series of critical integrations, transforming the site into an automated business tool:

- Fintech: Connected Mono checkout for fast and convenient payments, significantly increasing the percentage of successful transactions.

- Fiscalization: Integration with Checkbox ensures automatic receipt fiscalization in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

- Automation: Configured two-way data exchange with the client's ERP system. Inventory, prices, and order statuses are updated in real-time without manager intervention.

- Analytics: Implemented end-to-end analytics via GA4, and configured Pixels for Meta and TikTok for accurate event tracking.

4. Marketing and promotion

Parallel to development, the FAIR Agency strategy department prepared the ground for traffic launch. We applied an omnichannel approach:

- SEO: Basic technical optimization was conducted during the development stage (URL structure, meta-tags, sitemap), allowing the site to be quickly indexed by search engines.

- PPC (Google Ads):
Launch of shopping campaigns (Google Shopping) and search advertising to capture "hot" demand.

- Social Ads (Meta & TikTok):
Development of a creative strategy for Facebook/Instagram and TikTok. Given the brand's target audience, TikTok Ads became one of the key drivers for attracting new users.


5. Result and support

The Mermade project launch is an example of the synergy between design, technology, and marketing. The client received not just a website, but a ready-made sales channel generating revenue from day one.
